The Minnesota Community Assembly is a series of community gatherings that spurs participants to rethink civic connections, imagine how local government might be designed for the 21st century, and rebuild government to listen, understand, and act. At the end of the assembly, participants will have created policy recommendations, for both residents and elected officials , identifying opportunities for local government to better serve their community. The assembly will take place in a local venue for eight days over the course of three weekends.

November 3-4, November 17-19, and December 1-3
If you’re interested in participating, you should be available for all eight days, although a few exceptions may be made. In-person participants will receive $1,200 for eight days, plus reimbursement for travel and childcare expenses. All residents of participating cities over the age of 18 are eligible and encouraged to apply.
